mission statement
i wake up wanting to make the world a better place, so i use the vibrations of music to lift the world and its people. music has the power to transcend the many challenges and adversities life offers. it carries us somewhere else, helps us dream, causes elated feelings, and delivers us to memories of smells, scenes, or images from our past. it can lead us to a new way of seeing or perceiving things that we have never considered before. music makes us dance, evokes good times, and pulls us out of the doldrums. that is why i create music–to offer a bridge for people to cross.
i remember years ago, a friend introduced me to a song called “las vegas” by an artist that i really liked. her name was rikki lee jones, and i listened to this song incessantly as it became #1 on my car playlist… i was singing the the title “las vegas” over and over again, almost like a chant. after a few months, by some magical providence i received a job offer to conduct a show on the strip in las vegas. i ended up moving to that city and conducting that show for over a year. the song empowered an event that changed my life forever.
